Schiavo Media Circus Responds to Touch, Tracks Objects With Its Eyes

World O'Crap reports that Hannity & Colmes had on Terri Schiavo's crazy nurse, Carla Sauer Iyer, who is apparently losing her nursing license just for appearing on Hannity & Colmes. (Actually it's for revealing confidential patient information to CNN; same difference.) Iyer is the one who said Schiavo was sitting up, laughing at jokes, saying 'help me', and otherwise pretending not to be dead...but a vast conspiracy that included (among others) Terri's parents was deleting all the positive notes from Terri's chart. (That sentence is entirely exaggeration-free, in case you're wondering.) And now that same conspiracy is kicking her out of her noble profession.

Hannity was appalled at this miscarriage of justice, and he has a point: how can it be revealing confidential patient information if the 'information' is all just shit she made up? What is she supposed to have 'revealed', anyway?

World O'Crap was brave enough to watch, and has a recap of the segment. I was disappointed to read that a) the Crazy Carla show was relegated to the last five minutes of the program, and b) Hannity did not use her story to skewer liberal hypocrisy ("liberals are totally in favor of leaks if they help the terrorists, but they're against leaks if they just might save a dead woman's life").

Update: Crooks & Liars has the Hannity video. I haven't watched it (dial-up at home; yeah, it sucks) so I can't confirm reports that Colmes' eyes track a balloon as it floats through the studio.
