Scalia the Revisionist

So Scalia is saying Gore is responsible for the SCOTUS decision, because he dragged the election into the courts.

Fortunately, Matt Singer at Left in the West is on hand to correct the record:

In the first case filed in the Florida recount, both candidates are named as defendants. Three days later, Bush files his own federal lawsuit, the first suit in which either candidate is a plaintiff. The suit is tossed out. Next, a county sues to be allowed to finish its recount. They are partially vindicated. The whole thing ends up at the Florida Supreme Court. The Court rules repeatedly in favor of continuing to count votes.
To see the depths of Scalia's dishonesty, go read the rest (includes links to all the key decisions along the way).
