Weblog Awards: Vote Early and Often for Property of a Lady

My bitter, crushing disappointment¹ at IIRTZ not making the Weblog Awards finals in the 6751 - 8750 category (at, more to the point, not even being in the top ten of fewer than 30 nominees) is mitigated by happiness that one of my esteemed co-bloggers, the lovely and talented Deborah, is a finalist (for her home blog, Property of a Lady, in the "Best of the Rest" (8501+) category).

Voting is now open. Under their rules, each person can vote once per day; voting stays open until December 15. I'm not going to tell anyone how to vote...like hell I'm not. Property of a Lady deserves to win, and it's your duty (and mine) to do everything we can to make that happen. So, do your duty.


¹Seriously. It's a fucking travesty.

Update: I finally brought myself to look at the nominees in the category If I Ran the Zoo should have owned (6751-8501), and here's what I found: six conservative blogs; one non-political blog with a conservative blogroll (the Anchoress? give me a break); one sort-of 'liberal' who has a foaming-at-the-mouth obsession with illegal immigration (he's against it); one non-political blog with an ambiguous blogroll; and a blog on landscape architecture.

Fucking wankers.
