Oasis

The chill, the howling wind, the murky damp condensing on my glasses: summer is definitely here. I'm reminded of a line from Flanders & Swann: "I missed spring this year; I was in the bath."

But we take heart in the knowledge that it will again be sunny and warm. In October.
