Spring Is Here...For a Little While

After summer last weekend and the return of winter early in the week, spring has arrived. Or re-arrived, depending on how you count. Warmer days, and a lot more sun.

East Coast types say there are no seasons here, while we San Franciscans are fond of saying there are only two seasons--allergy season, and worse allergy season (oh, and by the way: this? right now? worse allergy season)--but the truth is, there are actually 78 separate micro-seasons in the Bay Area (some count 83, while others count 74, but it's in that ballpark) that arrive in no set order.
