This is what was running through my head this morning as I was preparing my cross-post. I hope you will forgive a bit of a ramble.
As I'm doing all the scut work involved with cross-posting (because going from Wordpress to Blogger involves Much Manual Labor), I'm asking myself if it's worth it, and if it is worth it, is it worth it to go to the extra effort to put the little "cross-post" notice at the bottom. Who would go both places anyway? What's the point of two identical blogs?
Except upon reflections, IIRTZ and Property of a Lady are very different. I probably only post about 20% of the PoaL stuff here, and IIRTZ has many smart interesting contributors who put my contributions to shame.
So I'm wondering what you all think? Do you generally click through on cross-post links? Do you find new blogs as a result of clicking through on linked blog contributors? This isn't, by the way, me feeling self-conscious and begging for strokes. I'm interested in your experience and choices in general; how you interact with blogs and blog communities, and all that sort of thing.
And thanks, Tom, for allowing me to steal your platform to ask these questions. ;)
