Clown Time Is Over

And Thomas Friedman finally notices.

Friedman isn't saying anything a lot of us didn't notice a long, long time ago. (Friedman was, of course, part of the stupidity he decries.) As obvious as his point is, though, it's not something you hear from the 'serious' pundits. If Friedman is saying it, maybe we really have turned a corner in the War on Stupid.

Then again, for a lot of people, clown time is far from over.
