I'm back

After a couple of weeks of dealing with the aftermath of death, and a much-needed weekend up at Tomales Bay, I'm ready (I hope) to get back into the thick of things. Many thanks to special guest Steve M, and regulars Deborah, Kathy, and Ahab, for keeping this place running while I was otherwise engaged.

Thanks also to all of you who have conveyed your sympathy for my family's loss. Death sucks, and there's no way around that...but it really does help to know that you're not alone.
