War and Christmas

Ahhh, look -- everybody's favorite racist, Kathryn Jean, is in the holiday spirit:

Reunited and It Feels So Good [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

The two biggest smiles at last night's D.C.-star-studded holiday reception at the Naval Observatory here in Washington? Dick Cheney and party guest Donald Rumsfeld.

Alcohol was served.

Unfortunately, 3,888 dead American troops were unable to join in the toasting. Which fact reminds me of a Christmas song:
Listen to me, Butterfly, there's only so much wine
You can drink in one life, and it will never be enough
To save you from the bottom of your glass.
Bottoms up, G.O.P.
