Pimp My Bride

David Brooks procures Ramesh Ponnuru's services for his column in this morning's NY Times, and together they decisively turn off an entire generation of American baby makers with a single phrase:

...Ramesh Ponnuru of The National Review proposes an increased child tax credit to reduce the stress on young families, the seedbed of human capital.
I wonder, would they be willing to wade a bit further into these weeds? Would they be game, for instance, on federal, state and local amnesties on various other seedbed stressors? Or would it be only the one, the necessary activity permitted?
