Over at LGM they are having a great thread on the novel Presidential strategy of explaining poor golf skills, occasional dieting, and a tendency to fall face forward on the carpet as a form of Christian sacrifice. Go read. Makes a nice bookend for Jamelle's new game suggestion and its pretty clear its one that President Bush and his aides have been playing for a long time. Instead of describing religious events in painstakingly literal terms, Bush has been describing ordinary failings in elevated religious language.
