Butcher of Broderdad; or, A-Roving Broder Goes

From this morning's Washington Post:

...Barack Obama is...hoping to confuse....

...trick...altered positions on any number of issues....

...Who is the real Barack Obama? ...a cynical old-style pol making poll-driven adjustments with scant regard for principles? A protectionist...? A corporate-basher...? Is he a doctrinaire liberal...?

Much Much Much More...

...some half-dozen recent Obama "flip-flops"...list of Obama's changed positions..."nobody knows what Barack Obama truly believes."

...Obama's recent performance...a desire to confuse....

...Obama's case...challenging...he is more opaque than the usual nominee....so truncated a political career...he has yet to lead on any major domestic or foreign policy issue, preceded by largely anonymous service in the Illinois state Senate.

...Obama's professed beliefs...virtually no issues emerged on which Obama's stands were seriously challenged by his opponents.

He won...a narrow majority of Democratic voters...changes now occurring in his positions have a significance far beyond themselves....

Obama...has a character problem...really can't trust him....voters' struggle to size up Obama....

...figure out how to attack him....frustrates...what makes him tick. They don't elect enigmas to the Oval Office.
Did I mention that the Washington Post also owns The Onion?
