This is not like me. Tom usually does something for Christmas. But since he's away and since (as part of a long-term assault I'm making on George's song-count supremacy) I happened to put 29 Christmas albums (all Mary's) into my iTunes this week, we've gotten into the Xmas spirit here in the blizzardy eastern "mountains" today with a random ten list of Christmas songs.

Maybe I'll come back later and put a regular FRT list under the fold. Feel free to add any old kind of list you'd like us to see in comments. Or put whatever you'd like in there. Be creative.

Note: I don't know why the artist on track three in my list is given as Kate & Anna McGarrigle. The song is sung, magnificently, by the children of Kate -- Rufus and Martha Wainwright. (That's a terrific Christmas album, by the way.)
