Trial is over and life is more or less back to normal. Nothing much is blooming, and given the drought it's unclear whether we'll even see much in the spring...but for now, here's a Sand Blazing Star (Mentzelia involucrata) from Cottonwood Basin Wash in Joshua Tree National Park.
