Yesterday I posted about a particularly odious provision inserted into the bill by Richard Pombo. I'm still trying to figure out if that provision stayed in the version that was passed. Stay tuned.
On edit: Just to clarify, whatever happened with the mining act amendment, there are tons of other really odious provisions in the bill, including cuts for Medicaid, children's health programs, student loans, and child support enforcement.
