Apologies (Sort of) to Terence Faukner

It occurs to me that maybe I was a little unfair to Terence Faulkner, author of the ballot arguments against Measure J1. It's worth noting that this passage:

Buchanin's mistakes helped bring about the American Civil War. His ardently pro-slavery Vice-President - John C. Breckenridge - later became a Confederate General.
makes clear that he considers slavery a bad thing--which is a perfectly laudable sentiment.

Arguably, it would be more productive to encourage anti-slavery Republicans, rather than getting all snarky at them. After all, a lot of Republicans don't share those sentiments.

1Measure calling for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney...and a pony!

[That's all, folks]
