50,000

Sometime this morning we reached the completely arbitrary milestone of 50,000 hits. Number 50,000 found us via a Google search for 'zoo trivia', visited one page, and stayed for zero seconds...but hey, a hit's a hit.

Of course I have to thank the folks who have graciously consented to class up the joint by posting here: Nobody in Particular, Deborah, Kvatch, Deb, Kathy, Shiltone, and Ahab. This is a much better, more interesting blog than it was when I started, and you all are responsible for that.

And thanks again to all of our readers: the lonely Iranian men looking for 'zoo gay sex', the Ron Luce groupies who search 'battle cry' and leave anguished comments about how he's not such a bad guy really, the Opie & Anthony fans who mount the world's most pathetic wannabe-blogswarm...and yes, the intelligent and articulate readers who come here every day and post interesting and thought-provoking comments and have, despite my best efforts to run this place into the ground, made this a living community. Even y'all.
