Does anyone else find it amusing that on the very day that De posts about the dinosaurs of misogyny, Jerry Falwell should happen to die?
I do. I think it's funny as hell.
Call me callous; I don't care. The evil that Falwell has done is vast and far-reaching and will long outlive him, will long outlive the smarmy hypocritical eulogies, and I'm in no mood to ignore that.
Falwell was the original organizer of the authoritarian Christian right. He's the person most responsible for the all-out war to junk liberal democracy and establish (Christian) theocratic rule.
