I had no interest at all in the MLB steroids report...until I saw this headline in the Chronicle: Batboy Key to Report. Yes, it's true:
Former Senator George Mitchell's report on the use of performance-enhancing drugs in Major League Baseball relied heavily on the confessions of...[B]atboy who was required to cooperate with investigators as a part of his plea bargain in a steroid-dealing case.I'm a little disappointed in him for being involved in the first place, but I'm glad he eventually did the right thing.
