For weeks now they've concealed the route of the Olympic torch through San Francisco on April 9 (the only North American stop), and it wasn't at all certain that they would ever let the public know before it happened. (It's not hard to see why; given the expected protests, this whole thing is a fiasco in the making.) Now, finally, they have made the route public; here's a map. It starts at McCovey Cove at 1 pm, and ends up at Justin Herman Plaza ~2:30 or so.
I don't do protests--I just don't think they're at all effective--but if you do, and you live in or around San Francisco, this one seems pretty worthwhile. You might even run into Catherine.
